Yummy!

Only 6 ingredients
These remind me of the scones I use to get at Steam & Bean

My kids just love these - could it possibly be the Chocolate Chips in them?...... They are always requesting Chocolate Chips in there pancakes. Around the holidays I found some Milk & White Chocolate Chips at Raley's and have been using them - nice twist! I'll share the recipe with you. They are super easy and yummy!

Chocolate Chip Scones
2 cups Original Bisquick mix
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup whipping (heavy) cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Additional whipping (heavy) cream
Additional sugar
1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Spray with cooking spray or grease cookie sheet. Stir Bisquick mix, chocolate chips, 1/3 cup whipping cream, 3 tablespoons sugar, the egg and vanilla until soft dough forms.
2. Pat into 8-inch circle on cookie sheet (if dough is sticky, dip fingers in Bisquick). Brush circle with additional whipping cream; sprinkle with additional sugar. Cut into 8 wedges, but do not separate.
3. Bake about 12 minutes or until golden brown; carefully separate. Serve warm. 8 scones.
Enjoy!

Looks good...So how easy is it on a scale of 1 to 10?

Ya know, I should keep a box of Bisquick around for times like this!

I give it a 3 - really you just dump it all into the bowl and mix it up - then smash it onto the cookie sheet! EASY! We buy the industrial size bisquick at Costco!...

I think my coffee addiction truly started at Steam and Bean simply because of the currant scones. I loved them. Alas, they are no longer.

Apparently it was some secret recipe brought in daily by an outside source and baked on site... Wish I could find it!
